Elmhurst resident Jayne Aspan opened Dick Pond Athletics-Elmhurst in 2003 in order to provide the near west suburbs with a locally owned and operated running store which could be a fun place to connect with local runners while offering the latest in running shoes, apparel and gear. Come on in and our trained staff will be happy to professionally analyze your feet, gait and training regimen to ensure you are fitted with the optimum performance shoe.

In addition to running, Dick Pond Athletics has a long history of providing a wide selection of wrestling shoes and gear.

Dick Pond Athletics-Elmhurst is part of the Dick Pond Athletics group of stores. Dick Pond Athletics was established in 1969 and is the oldest Running Store in the USA. Dick Pond was an accomplished high school distance runner and All-American at WMU who wanted to offer quality running shoes at an affordable price and exceptional customer service.
